چکیده
Abstract We study liveness and model checking problems for broadcast networks, a system of identical clients communicating via message passing. The first problem that we consider is Liveness Verification . It asks whether there computation such one visits final state infinitely often. complexity the has been open. was shown to be $$\texttt {P}$$ P -hard but in {EXPSPACE}$$ EXPSPACE close gap by polynomial-time algorithm. latter relies on characterization live computations terms paths suitable graph, combined with fixed-point iteration efficiently check existence paths. second Fair where all participating visit adjust algorithm also solve fair polynomial time. Both can instrumented answer questions networks against linear time temporal logic specifications. this context Model Checking demands network, satisfy specification. Liveness of Parameterized Timed Networks
We consider the model checking problem of infinite state systems given in the form of parameterized discrete timed networks with multiple clocks. We show that this problem is decidable with respect to specifications given by Bor S-automata. Such specifications are very expressive (they strictly subsume ω-regular specifications), and easily express complex liveness and safety properties. Our res...
متن کاملBroadcast Routing in Wireless Ad-Hoc Networks: A Particle Swarm optimization Approach
While routing in multi-hop packet radio networks (static Ad-hoc wireless networks), it is crucial to minimize power consumption since nodes are powered by batteries of limited capacity and it is expensive to recharge the device. This paper studies the problem of broadcast routing in radio networks. Given a network with an identified source node, any broadcast routing is considered as a directed...

متن کاملAnonymity in Wireless Broadcast Networks
Systems that provide network traffic anonymity typically focus on wide-area network topologies, and exploit the infeasibility of eavesdropping on all links to prevent attackers from determining communication peers. This approach is inappropriate for high-security wireless localarea networks, since it does not obscure the traffic volume, allowing attackers to identify critical nodes (e.g., a mil...
متن کاملAsynchronous Broadcast in Radio Networks
We study asynchronous packet radio networks in which transmissions among nodes may be delayed. We consider the task of broadcasting a message generated by the source node. The timing of arrivals of messages is controlled by adversaries. We consider three different adversaries. The edge adversary can have a transmitted message delivered at different times to different recipients. The crash adver...
